Shambhala Legacy
Shambhala (Tibetan: ཞམ་བྷ་ལ, Sanskrit: Śambhala), also translated as Shangri-La, means the land of eternal joy and ultimate paradise. It is the core ideal Buddhist kingdom of the Kalachakra tradition in Tibetan Buddhism, as well as a millennial spiritual totem and cultural heritage of Tibet. It is not only a hidden pure land surrounded by snow-capped mountains recorded in Buddhist scriptures, but also a condensed carrier of Tibetan culture, art, faith and lifestyle, embodying humanity’s eternal yearning for peace, purity and harmonious coexistence.
